Increased automation used to be something that American labor opposed. Now, however, it is the way to bring manufacturing back to the U.S. One problem, however, is that the industries that have the expertise to do this are the most heavily invested in manufacturing outside the U.S.

You can't keep paper files secret when there's a search warrant, so there's no reason to expect you can keep electronic files secret. As for how they make the lady give up the password, the standard approach is, if she refuses, to keep her in jail until she gives it up (even if it takes years).

Animals are least likely to be willing to co-exist when they occupy similar ecological niches. Thus, you don't see very many cougars in areas where jaguars are present -- the jaguars drive out the smaller cougars.

Sears. It's easy to understand why brick-and-mortar stores like Target don't get online. But Sears started out as a catalog business, and it remained a catalog business for many years. A hundred years ago, you could buy a house from the Sears Roebuck catalog.
